2014 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Calendar Confirmed

Porsche, likewise to Renault, have announced their 2014 calendar today, which will see 19 races over ten weekends make up the schedule.

The high octane support series is once again set to take its place on the TOCA Package. Competing on nine weekends of the British Touring Car Championship across the UK.

In early June however, the one make series is to head to Le Mans | to be part of the support race there. With Le Mans only a few days after the annual trip to Oulton Park on the BTCC calendar, Porsche have announced that it is best for teams and drivers that Le Mans replaces the Cheshire weekend.

This however does mean that there will be now 19 races instead of the usual 20 in the championship.

The series is in action this coming weekend at the home of British motorsport, Silverstone, for the penultimate weekend of the season. Defending champion Michael Meadows currently sits at the head of the standings.
