Warren Scott remaining coy on Team BMR driver line-up
Warren Scott is remaining tight-lipped on who will fill the currently vacant seats at Team BMR for the 2015 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
Having confirmed Aron Smith last year, Scott will also get back behind the wheel of a VW CC therefore leaving two seats available in the team – with neither Alain Menu or Jack Goff yet to confirm their futures.
With several drivers being linked to the Buntingford-based team, the 43-year-old gave nothing away when pressed on the subject.
Scott told BTCC Crazy: “In the next couple of weeks I will be able to make announcement regarding who will be driving for us in 2015.
“In all honesty I don’t know if we will have the same driver line-up as last year or not. It would be great too but we may have some new additions.
“We are currently sorting out the last bits of sponsorship and once that is done it will really determine where we are. It is frustrating because I like to have things decided early but it hasn’t worked out that way unfortunately.”
Scott continued: “I’ll be back for sure though, there is no way I wouldn’t be driving when the series is this good and my aim will be to continue improving and working my way up the grid.
“I’d like to think that I was making solid progress towards the back end of 2014.”
One of the teams achilles heel in 2014 was the lack of pre-season testing that was carried out prior to round one and Scott revealed that will not be the case this year.
“We will be out by the end of this month,” admitted Scott. “All four cars are being rebuilt now so we will be ready to carry out a proper pre-season test programme this year.”
